Abstract: To elucidate the effect of naloxone on adenylcyclase(AC) of canine myocardium, the adenylcyclase activities of non-ischemic, ischemic and reper fused myocardium were assayed respectively in vivo and in vitro. It was found that intravascular administration of naloxone(1mg.kg-1) significantly decreased AC activities of ischemic and reper fused myocardium(p<0.01, p<0.05);but naloxone had no effect on AC activities in non-ischemic, ischemic and reperfused myocardium homogenate(p>0.05).It suggested that naloxone have no direct inhibiting effect on activity.
