Abstract: Objective To develop a method for determination of chlorogenic acid in Yanshu Tangjiang by high performance liquid chromatography. Methods ODS C18 (4.6mm×250mm, 7μm) was selected and the mobile phase consisted of acetonitrile -0.4% phosphoric acid (15:85)at the flow rate 1mL/min. The detection wavelength was 327nm. ResultsThe calibration curve was linear in the range of 1.62-21.60μg(r =1.0000). The average recovery of the method was 100.1%,RSD was 0.80% (n = 5). Conclusion This method was reliable and accurate. The method can be used to control the quality of preparation.
