Rapid separation and identification of chemical components in Danxiangguanxin injection by HPLC-TOFMS

  • Objective To separate and identify the components in Danxiangguanxin injection by high performance liquid chromatography time-of-flight mass spectrometry (HPLC-TOFMS). Methods Agilent Zorbax SB-Cl8 column (3.0 mm×100 mm, 3.5 μm) was used for separation and identification of chemical components in Danxiangguanxin injection with a mobile phase of 0.5 % acetic acid (A) and acetonitrile (B) in gradient elution. 0~25 min, 2%~33% B; 25~30 min, 33%~95% B; the flowing rate was 0.5 ml/min and the injection volume was 5 μl. And the time-of-flight mass spectrometer was equipped with an EIS ion source. Scanning mass range was ranged between m/z 100~1000. Results Thirty-one chemical compounds in Danxiangguanxin injection were identified unequivocally. Conclusion Chromatographic demonstration of chemical compounds in Danxiangguanxin injection could provide foundation for the further metabolism and action mechanism study of Danxiangguanxin injection.
