Characteristics research on the dissolution of nifedipine tablets in vitro

  • Objective To improve the dissolution rate of nifedipin tablets in vitro.Methods The effects of particle size, diluents and disintegrator on dissolution of nifedipine tablets in vitro were studied, compare dissolution curve method was used to optimize the formulation. Results The nifedipine tablets which were prepared with optimized prescription had the excellent quality of dissolution and have achieved the quality of Parmacopeia of Peoples Republic of China (2000). Conclusion The formulation is reasonable, it is suitable for manufacturing industrally.
