Abstract: Objective To establish a HPLC method for determination of acetaminophen in compound paracetmol and zinc gluconate tablets. Methods Alltech-C18 (4.6×250mm,5μm)column was used and the mobile phase consisted of methanol and water (20:80). It was detected at 246nm. Results Linearity was obtained in the concentration rage of 4~60μg/mL, A=-13496.960 9+78302.6211C(r=0.9999).The average recovery was 99.83%,RSD=0.93%(n=6). Conclusion The method provide an accurate and sensitive way for the determination of acetaminophen in compound paracetmol and zinc gluconate tablets by HPLC.
