Abstract: Objective To establish HPLC fingerprint spectrum of commercial species of Gryllotalpa(Gryllotalpa orientalis Burmeister, G.unipina Saussure) and their false species(Teleogryllus emus). Methods Samples extracted with water by heating and refluence were analized by HPLC. HPLC mobile phase consisted of methanol-water(10:90) and detect wavelength was set at 260nm. Results Two species of Gryllotalpa and false variety had 7 common peaks, and every species had it's own characteristic peaks. Conclusion Varieties and confusion variety could be identified with differences in fingerprint by HPLC.
