Determination of hydroquinone in compound hydroquinone cream by dual wavelength UV-spectrophotometric method

  • Objective :To establish a method for determining the content of hydroquinone in compound hydroquinone cream. Methods :The dual wavelength UV-spectrophotometric method was used for hydroquinone analysis. Results :The linear range of hydroquinone was 4.06 μg/mL-24.36 μg/mL(r=0.999 8,n=6),the average recovery was 95.87 %,RSD was 0.51%. Conclusion :This method is simple,rapid and accurate.
