Abstract: Objective :To study the apoptosis and mechanism of arsenicals on human gastric carcinoma cells. Methods : MTT,FCM and RT-PCR tests were used to investigate of apoptosis levels induced by arsenic trioxide and the effect on LRP、C-myc expression. Results :1.0 μmol/L and 2.0 μmol/L arsenic trioxide can decrease LRP、C-myc expression. Conclusions :Low concentrations may improve apoptosis of gastric cancer by decreasing LRP、C-myc expression.As2O3 may be used to treat gastric cancer but the results are no better than cisplatin.
