Abstract: Objective To investigate the chemical constituents from leaves of Rosa Laevigata Michx.Methods The chemical constituents were isolated and purifieated by silica gel column chromatography,Sephadex LH-20 and semi-preparative RP-HPLC. Their structures were identified by spectral data together with physicochemical analysis,Results Twelve known compounds were isolated and identified as catechin(1),quercetin(2),naringenin(3),kaempferol(4),ethyl gallate(5),p-hydroxyl ethyl cinnamate(6),ω-hydroxypropioquaiacone(7),hydroxytyrosol(8),o-hydraxybeuzoic acid(9),scopoletin(10),ethyl α-D-arabillofuranoside(11),methyl β-D-glucopyranoside(12).Conclusion Compound 11 was isolated from genus Rosa for the first time,compounds 3,5-9 were isolated from leaves of Rosa Laevigata Michx for the first time.
