Abstract:
Paclitaxel,an antineoplastic agent,was administered intravenously to rats daily at dose levels of 0(saline and vehicle),0.1,0.3 and 1.0 mg/kg for 63 days prior to mating and during the wating period in males,and for 14 days prior to mating and during the mating period as well as day 0 to 7 of gestation in females. The results manifest that 1.0mg/kg Paclitaxel caused suppression of the body weight gains accompanied by the decreased food consumption in either male or female rats. Adrenal and ovarian weight were decreased in 1.0mg/kg dams at term. The fertility indices in both sexes of 1.0mg/kg were lower than the saline-treated group. However,the copulation indices in both sexes in 1.0 mg/kg rats were comparable to those of the saline-treated group.Decreases in the number of corpora lutea, implantations and live futuses or increases in the number fo empty implantation sits and total embryofetal deaths were observed in 1.0mg/kg dams. However, the fetal weights, crown-rump distances and tail lengths in live fetuses were not affected by paclitaxel treatment.

The postantibiotic effect(PAE)is reviewed in this article, which provides theory basis for once-daily administration of aminoglycosides. The new regimen has equally effective as traditional regimens. Also,it may delays the occurance for postexposure resistance by reducing contact time between the organism and the drug,and reduces nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity that caused by the accumulation of drugs, The data on studies has shown that once-daily administration of aminoglycosides is advisable. Patients, espacially the patient with renal dysfunction,may benifit from once-daily administration of aminoglycosides.

Preliminary study of quality control and stability of sustained release porous ofloxacin hydroxylapatite wax was made. Experimental results showed that necessities did not interfere with determination of ofloxacin by uv. Each stability showed that there were no effects of light, heat and humidity on ofloxacin-porous hydroxylapatite wax(OFLX-PHA-wax). The results showed OFLX-PHA-wax could keep stable within two years.

Abstract:
A UV Spectrophotometry method for the quantitative determination of Ethylparaben Alcoholic Solution was described. The results showed that this method was simple,rapid,and accurate. It suits to quality control and rapid analysis of the product. The average recovery rates in this experiment was 99.91%,and coefficient of variation was 0.22%

Two components of sulfudiazine argenticum and chlorhexidini acetas in compound sulfadiazine argenticum suspensions are determined simultaneously by using PLS method in this paper. The average recovery ratio of two components are 100.48±0.18%and 100.49±0.30% respectively(confidence 95%). Three batches of sample were determined and the results were accurate and rehiable.
