Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To check out whether antibacterial drugs were rational in clinical use. METHODS Original data of antibacterial drugs were statistically analyzed and using a self-design software, we carried out a comprehensive analysis of adverse drug reaction of 340 cases. RESULTS The frequency of penicillin use is the highest, Quinolones, clindamycins and aminogiycosides were mostly used. Of 48 adverse drug reaction cases, ADRs caused by penicillin ranked the first, Quinolones ranked the second and Cefazolins ranked the third. CONCLUSION It would be helpful to decrease the occurrence of ADR and the cost of ADR and improve the use of antibacterial drugs.

Effect of Hypericum Wightianum extracts on synapse reuptake of dopamine in the striatum of rat brain
2002, (6): 338-340.
Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To study effect of hypericum wightianum extracts on synapse reuptake of dopamine in rat brain striatum. METHODS The inhibition experiment of reuptaking [3H]-dopamine on brain striatum synapse of rat has been adopted. The activity was evaluated by assaying quantity of reuptaking(cmp) and the inhibition percentage. RESULTS The average inhibition percentage and IC50 of Hypericum Wightianum extract group, are respectively 65% and 113.25 mg/ml and for St. Johns 61% and 28.29mg/ml-1 and for Wort group are. CONCLUSION Hypericum Wightianum extract group and antidepressant preparation St. John's Wort group both showed inhibition activity on brain striatum synapse reuptaking dopamine and have no statistics significance between the two groups.

Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To establish method for monitoring bactrial endotoxin of vinpocetine and glucose injection. METHODS The interference function of vinpocetine and glucose injection to bactrial endotoxin was determined with tachyplens amebocyte lysate(TAL), which determined well by pyrogen test method. RESULTS Vinpocetine and glucose injection has not interference function on bactrial endotoxin inspection. CONCLUSION Method of gelation assay can determine bactrial endotoxin in vinpocetine and glucose injection.

Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To establish a HPLC method for simultaneously determination of diclofenac sodium and chlorphenamine maleate. METHODS The content of the Ganmaotong was determined by reverse HPLC using UV detector at wavelength of 264nm. RESULTS The method was linear over the ranger of 0.024~0.24mg·ml-1(diclofenac sodium) and 0.004~0.04mg·ml-1(chlorphenamine maleate). The mean recovery was 100.89% and 99.04%, RSD,0.58% and 0.74%. CONCLUSION The method was simple rapid and precise. It was suitable for quantitative analysis of the Ganmaotong tablet.

Determination of berberine hydrochloride in Zhongweikang capsules by convolution spectrometry method
2002, (6): 350-351.
Abstract:
OBJECTIVE To determine berberine hydrochoride in Zhongweikan capsules without separation. METHODS The absorption data was measured by the UV-VIS spectrophotometer, the convolution spectrometry method was used to calculate the concentration of berberine hydrochoride after absorption data transformation. RESULTS The average recovery and RSD of berberine hydrocholoride were as follows; 100.00% 0.03%. CONCLUSION Convolution spectrometry is reliable, accurate and suitable for the determination of the drug contents in hospital preparations.
