Abstract:
Objective: To study the effects of four flavonoids (fisetin, quercetin, apigenin, and phloretin) on production and ac-tions of fibrogenic cytokines. Methods: Mouse peritoneal macrophages were primed with calcimycin 10-6mol/L for 8h then elicited by lipopolysaccharides (LPS) 100g/L for 6h to induce fibrogenic cytokines.Proliferative and collagen stimulating activity in the macro-phage culture supernatants was determined by crystal violet staining assay and [3H]-proline incorporation assay using rat hepatic stel-late HSC-T6 cell.Transforming growth factorβ(TGFβ) activity was measured by [3H]-thymidine incorporation assay using Mv-1-Lu mink lung epithelial cell. Results: Fisetin, quercetin, apigenin, and phloretin (12.5~50μmol/L) concentration-dependently inhibit LPS-induced collagen stimulating activities and TGFβproduction whereas they did not inhibit proliferative activities released by macro-phages. Conclusion: The four flavonoids reducted fibrogenic cytokines production and blockade of their actions on hepatic stellate cells.

Abstract:
Objective: To develop a method for determination of arginine in human fibrinogen. Methods: The sample was mixed with alanine as the internal standard, derived by 2, 4-dinitrofluorobenzene.The mobil phase was composed of 50% acetonitrile-0.05 mol/L acetate buffer(35∶65).The UV detection wavelength was 362nm. Results: There was a good linear relationship with the range of 0.16~0.06mg/mL(r=0.9998), average recovery of arginine was 102.4%, RSD was 1.4%. Conclusion: This method is accu-rate, simple, cheap, and can be used for determination of arginine in human fibrinogen.

Abstract:
Objective: To compare the differences and advantages in the application of sort-based analysis and ABC inventory theo-ry in hospital pharmacy. Methods: Drug inventory data were collected from a teaching hoapital with 1000 beds. The data were calculat-ed through the application of ABC inventory theory and sort-based analysis. Results: A items were classified by ABC inventory theory, which had 215 items(17 percent of total items), 71.67 million units(46.41 percent of total inventory units) with 275.98 million yuan in whole cost (80.06 percent of total inventory costs);and the important items were classified by sort-based analysis which had 512 i-tems (40 percent of total items), 139 million units (90.01 percent of total inventory units) with 314.17 million yuan in whole cost (91.15 percent of total inventory costs). Conclusion: sort-based analysis can fetch up some shortages of ABC inventory theory in op-eration process, which should be used to improve the efficiency of inventory management in hospital pharmacy.

Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the present situation of antimicrobial usage in the patients who underwent surgical operation in a three-grade hospital. Methods: According to the designed table with unified contents and standard, a retrospective investigation was made in 97 operated patients who had been discharged from the hospital. Results: In the 97 patients who underwent surgical oper-ation, antibacterial use in 56 patients was rational, 41 patients had irrational antibacterial use.The irrational antibacterial combination use happened most frequently and the cases were 17, the other irrational aspects were antibacterial selection and indication, usage and dosage, preventive medication, the cases were 16, 16, 13 respectively;of all antimicrobials used, cephalosporins were used most fre-quently, penicilins were the second, then were aminoglycosides. These three kinds of antibiotics accounted for 72.32% of all antibiot-ics used. Conclusion: The results show that it is very important to strengthen and improve the management of the antimicrobial use in a normal and standard way in hospital.

Abstract:
Objective: To improve the dissolution rate of sodium ferulate by preparing the dropping pill using the technology of solid dispersion. Methods: The dropping pill was prepared with PEG 6000 and poloxamer 188 as carriers. The dissolution rate of sodium fer-ulate was measured using the basket method as well as HPLC. Results: The higher the ratio of PEG 6000 vs sodium ferulate in the dropping pill was, the greater the dissolution rate of the drug was.The dropping pill prepared was rounded and homogeneous. With 0.1 mol/L hydrochloride solution, water and pH 6.8 phosphrate buffer solution as the media, the dissolution rate of sodium ferulate from dropping pill was significantly faster than that from the marketing tablet of sodium ferulate, respectively. Conclusion: Sodium ferulate dropping pill had excellent rapid release effect.

Objective: Separation of enantiomer of amlodipine by CE and HPLC. Methods: Different separation conditions such as buffer pH, the concentration of the chiral selector, buffer concentrations, temperature and applied voltage, etc.were studied and op-timized.The separation was finally conducted in 100mM orthophosphoric acid-Tris buffer (pH3.0) with 1.0% (w/w) HP-β-CD.The applied voltage was 16kV and the temperature 15℃. Results: Both CE and HPLC could give enantiomer of amlodipine resolution for adrenaline. Conclusion: The method proved to be specific and accurate

Objective: To observe the chemical stability of seven common injections mixed with ciprofloxacin lactate at room tem-perature for 8 hours. Methods: The appearance of mixed injection was observed and pH was tested. The convolution spectrometry was used. The results were described quantitatively by subtract spectrometry value. Results: The subtract spectrometry values of ciprofloxa-cin mixed with six infusions were less than 10%.The subtract spectrometry values of ciprofloxacin lactate mixed with sodium lactate in-jection were 1.57%, 31.76%, 26.46%, 22.85% in 2~8hours. Conclusion: At room temperature for 8 hours ciprofloxacin mixed with six infusions can be used, and ciprofloxacin lactate mixed with sodium lactate injection can't be used.
