2006, (6): 331-334.
Abstract(2572) PDF (398KB)(168)
Abstract:
Objective: To establish a method for simultaneous determination of baicalin, glycyrrbizic acid in Xiaochaihu decoction by RP-HPLC. Methods: A Agilent Zorbax SB C18(4.6mm×250mm,5m) was used with a mobile phase of acetonitrile-0.01% H3 PO4 in gradient elution,The flow rate was 1.0mL/min and the detection wavelength was set at 250nm. Results: The two constituents were separated within 50 min.The linearity was obtained over 12.66~405.0g/mL(r=0.9998)for baicalin,1.988~63.60 g/mL(r =0.9997) for glycyrrhizic acid respectively. The RSD of precision and stability of the sample was less than 1% in 48 hours. The RSD of the average recovery was less than 2%. Conclusion: The method is rapid, simple and accurate, and it can be suitable for the simulta- neous determination of baicalin, glycyrrhizic acid in Xiaochaihu decoction and the quality control of Xiaochaihu decoction.

2006, (6): 334-336.
Abstract(2399) PDF (330KB)(268)
Abstract:
Objective: To determine hyoscyamine in compound belladonna mixture. Methods: Acid dye colorimetry was used in pH 6.6 with the detection wavelength at(589±1)nm. Results: The linear ranges of the standard curve was 1.2~7.2μg/mL(r= 0.9991).The average recovery of the assay was 100.02%(RSD=0.69%,n=4). Conclusions: This method is accurate, convenient and sensitive for the quality control of hyoscyamine in compound belladonna mixture. The key of this method is exactly control of pH in order to avoid the disturbance.

Abstract(2443) PDF (390KB)(247)
Abstract:
Objective: To establish a method for simultaneous determination of ketoconazole and clobetasol propionate in compound ketoconazole gel. Methods: HPLC method was developed.Chromatographic conditions included Hypersil ODS2 C18 column and the mo- bile phase was methanol-0.2% triethylamine(adjust with acetic acid to a pH of 6.9,V:V=75:25).The flow rate was 1.0 mL/ min and the UV detection wavelength was at 239 nm. Results: Ketoconazole had a good linearity(r=0.9999) in the range of 10.08~201.16μg/mL,its average recovery was 99.59%(RSD=0.77%).Clobetasol propionate had a good linearity(r=0.9998) in the range of 0.251~5.02μg/mL,its average recovery was 100.76%(RSD=1.18%). Conclusion: The method was simple, sensitive and accurate for simultaneous determination of the two constituents in compound ketoconazole gel.

2006, (6): 339-341,356.
Abstract(2797) PDF (526KB)(569)
Abstract:
Objective: To investigate the anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects of extract of Herba agrimoniae. Methods: The anti- inflammatory and analgesic effects of alcohol extract and water extract from Herba agrimoniae were observed by means of acetic acid in- ducing mouse writhing model, hot plate method, dimethylbenzene inducing ear edema model and carrageenan inducing rat voix pedis swell model. Results: It was found that alcohol extract and water extract from Herba agrimoniae markedly reducing the writhing fre- quency induced by acetic acid, significantly increasing the pain threshold in mice induced by hot plate, evidently suppressing the mouse's ear edema induced by dimethylbenzene and significantly mitigating the rat voix pedis swell inducing by carrageenan. The action of alcohol extract was better than which of water extract. Conclusion: The alcohol extract from Herba agrimoniae has notable effects on anti-inflammation and analgesia.

2006, (6): 342-345.
Abstract(2786) PDF (375KB)(169)
Abstract:
Objective: To study the pharmacokinetics of cetirizine/pseudoephedrine sustained release tablets in Beagle dogs. Methods: Pseudoephedrine concentrations in serum were assayed by HPLC with DiamonsilTM C18(250×4.6 mm,5μm) column, 0.05mol/L sodium dihydrogen phosphate-mathanol(75:25),pH adjusted to 3.0 with phosphoric acid as mobile phase, and detec- tion wavelength of 213nm.The pharmacokinetic parameters were researched after single admininstration of cetirizine/pseudoephedrine sustained release tablets in 6 Beagle dogs. Results: The pharmacokinetic parameters cetirizine/pseudoephedrine sustained release tablets were followed:MRT=8.21 h,Tpeak=4h,Cmax=200 8.7ng/mL.The relative hioavailabihy of cetirizine/pseudoephedrine sustained release tablets was(95.9±2.3)%. Conclusion: The pharmacokinetic profile of cetirizine/pseudoephedrine sustained release tablets was similar to the reference tablets. The self-made one was bioequivalent to Zycted-D 12h tablets, and its released profile in vivo/in vitro was correlation.

2006, (6): 346-351.
Abstract(2622) PDF (572KB)(133)
Abstract:
Objective: To estimate the efficacy and safety of indigenous gatifloxacin and levofloxacin on bacterial infection. Methods: According to the requirements of Cochrane systematic review,a thorough literature search was performed among Chinese digital Hospital Library(www.chkd.cnki.net) and Chinese Biomedical Literature Disk Database(CBM disk).A meta analysis was per- formed on a total of 2 253 patients involved in 18 papers which met the inclusion criteria. Results: The clinical effective rate of indige- nous gatifloxacin treatment group versus levofloxacin treatment group was found between the two groups( OR 1.42,95% CI 1.03~1.98,Z=2.11 P=0.03) have significant difference.Clinical cure rates、corresponding bacterial eradication rates and adverse reac- tion rates have no significant difference. Conclusions: Indigenous gatifloxacin treatment bacterial infection effectivenessis higher than levofloxacin.

2006, (6): 357-359.
Abstract(2264) PDF (289KB)(151)
Abstract:
Objective: To establish a method for the quality control of Semen Strychni in Zhanjin pills. Methods: An RP-HPLC method for the quantitative determination of strychnine and brucine in Semen Strychni was built.A XTerra TMC18 column(150mm×3.9mm,5μm)was used with a 10mmol/L amonium bicarbonate solution(adjusted to pH 9.5 by ammonia solution)and acetonitrile(75 :25)as the mobile phase. The detective wavelength was 256nm and the column temperature was 35℃.The basifying testing sample was extracted supersonically by chloroform in cold immersion. Results: The linear ranges were 0.432~2.160μg for strychnine and 0.388~1.940μg for brucine. The average recovery and RSD were 100.03% and 2.06% for strychnine,99.41% and 2.41% for bru- cine, respectively. Conclusion: The method was specific, accurate and precise. It could be used for the quality control for Semen Strychni in Zhanjin pills.

Abstract:
Objective: To determine the content of luteolin in Pyrrosia lingua by HPLC. Methods: The HPLC method was used to deter- mine the content of luteolin from Pyrrosia lingua. The analysis was carried out on Shimadzu C18 colunm(150mm×4.6mm,5μm).The mobile phase was MeOH-0.2% H3 PO4(50:50).Flow-rate was 1.0mL/min.Wave-length was 254nm.Temperature was room temperature. Results: The method was simple and had a good linear relationship. The liner range of luteolin is 0.40~2.00μg and gave a correlation (r)of 0.999 6.The recovery, was 95.85%,RSD 0.27%. Conclusion: The method was easy to determine the content of luteolin from Pyrrosia lingua.
